Olga,

You haven't really given us enough to go on.
I implied before that you should check the archive of the mailing list,
which is
http://www.biglist.com/lists/xsl-list/archives/

Also, try the comprehensive list of XSL F)requently A)sked Q)uestions,
which is
http://www.dpawson.co.uk/xsl/xslfaq.html

Try these resources first.  If they still don't help, then give us some
more information.
But in the meantime, I can think of two possibilities:

1.  I've always seen CDATA capitalized, and case always matters, so I think
<![cdata[ would not work.
2.  What is inside a <![CDATA[ section can <b>only</b> be plain text ]> ,
so what I just wrote would not make "only" bold-face (if displayed in
HTML).  This does not make the contents of the section invalid, but it
would not do what you might have expected.
