xsl multiply number
No - that would produce the following output:

1*2*3

Rather, you want this:

Total = <xsl:value-of select="number(one) * number(two) * number(three)"/>

Hi

A beginners question. If I have the following XML :

<numbers>
	<one>1</one>
	<two>2</two>
	<three>3</three>
</numbers>

And I want to generate the mutilple of these numbers, How would I do it in
XSLT?

Would the following work:

<xsl:stylesheet
   xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
   version="1.0">
	<xsl:template match="numbers">
	Total = <xsl:value-of select="one"/>*<xsl:value-of
select="two"/>*<xsl:value-of select="three"/>
	</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>

many thanks
joe
