Jeni said in response to a query from Frank Stein about scripting, > There's nothing in XSLT that interprets the content of an element as > something to run: calls to functions are *always* in attribute values. This set of two lightbulbs in my head: 1. She can say this because XSLT is XML, so that (for example) select ="foo" is an attribute of the element xsl:value-of. 2. Failing to remember this is one reason why people get so confused about how to understand XSLT. Thanks again, Jeni, for making things easier for the rest of us.
