Hi,
I have this problem, too..., and only with IE!
But i still not have installed the updated MSXML.. ( http://www.netcrucible.com/xslt/msxml-faq.htm )
I think this could be the explanation...

Can't tell from this fragment: there must be some explanation in the part of
the stylesheet that you haven't shown us.
