Is there a way to achieve the equivalent of pm.setPreviewMode( "preview" ); pm.setPreviewElement( new Name( "ROW" ) ); from within an XSLT script/stylesheet? I have several situations where the transformation are relatively simple but I have to write Java programs using SAX or Saxon to prevent running out of memory when processing large files. It seems (short of "compiling") that the stylesheet/script is the best place to make statements about what needs to be remembered and what may be safely forgotten. R.Parr Temporal Arts 330 S.
