It works well for me as a standalone processor, I use it on the server side to do some simple transformations, but it is quick and stable with an acceptable level of completeness. It is written in C++ by Keith Visco, and not only does it function as the processor in the browser, it is designed to work as a standalone processor under Unix and Windows. There are other people on this list more qualified to answer the integration questions.
