A simple suggestion from a somewhat unix oriented guy is to use Perl and write a script to do it. Perl isn't too hard to learn and will allow you to do things of this sort easily without a lot of typing. -Jeffrey -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of X Line Sent: Monday, June 26, 2000 1:52 PM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: How to extract comments only? I'm still new to XSLT, but have a need to extract all comments (however deep) from an XML file to another. Output should only contain comments and nothing else perhaps save the XML declaration (i.e: none of the other markup/pcdata). Is this possible with XSLT? I couldn't figure out from my limited knowledge. Thanks much for any info.
