Carlos,

Isn't it rather the XML parser which is processing a DOCTYPE ?

There have been an inserting debate about this subject on XML-DEV
(http://egroups.com/message/xml-dev/19367).

If you can read French (or find a good translator), I have documented
this issue on <XML>fr
(http://xmlfr.org/actualites/tech/000403-0001.xml).

Hope this helps.
