Hi Tony

> All XSL-List messages have the same footer.
If only this were true I'd have no problem. Most do have the standard
footer, but some don't. See below for an example from the archive which you
can check yourself.

> Match on the "sender" field
Microsoft Outlook (yes some people have to use Microsoft software!) does not
allow matching on "sender" (or "reply to" etc.). Only From/To/Subject/Body
sections. Matching on "To" is no good because people use aliases (and
Outlook doesn't see beyond these to the address). I tried matching on the
footer, but as I said, some messages don't have the standard footer.

Its an irritation rather than a big deal so if nothing can be done i'll shut
up about it!

Thanks

Example email which lacks the standard footer (taken from the archive):

XSL-List Archive
last() function
From: "Richard Bell" <RichardBell@xxxxxxxxxxx>
Date: Sat, 8 Apr 2000 02:06:52 +0100
Organization: Rogge Global Partners PLC

Using SAXON I statements like

<xsl:if test="position()=last()"/>

seem to work OK. However, when I parse using MSXML3 I get an error

'Last() function must have a node-set to operate on.
position()=-->last<--()'

Any thoughts. Thanks.
Rich.
