reasons for xslt

Yes, this is (to my mind, at least) one of the big problems with XSLT.

But may the good question is what to use as an XSL editor?

Well, you can't use a standard off-the-shelf XML editor if you want it to be able to check that your XSLT code is correct (ie validate).

So I guess you'll have to hunt down a custom-built
XSLT editor (I think IBM might have a pre-release
of something).

So this is the way forward?!?

Every new namespace-based spec requiring
custom-written tools? Wasn't XML supposed
to standardise things?

(And before you flame me, I _can_ see that
there are very good reasons for XSLT to
be the way it is. The limitations of the
approach still remain though.)

Just my $0.02,

J
