Hi Diarmuid, It's difficult to say without knowing what are your needs ;=) If you want to XSL process some tree fragments which you've just generated, you can put the stuff into a variable and convert it into a nodeset using the brand new xt:nodeset() extension which James Clark has added in the latest release (19991105). Hope this helps. Eric PS: it's a topic we've been discussing in the XML Server forum (see http://www.egroups.com/group/xml-server/130.html? and the next messages).
