RE: in-memory DOM objects

XT can parse using SAX, or can take a DOM as input (see
http://www.jclark.com/xml/xt.html).  My understanding is that, either way,
the input is translated into a proprietary XT model for XSLT processing, and
this model for the entire is in memory during processing.
