msxml: filtering by wildcard values

wildcard values
Seems that you can use filter patterns to match almost any conceivable
elementname, but can you can do the same for the actual values, like can I
filter for an element that *contains*  a certain word?

MSXML btw.

thanks for any help on this, interesting if I could implement a real search
function with nothing but xml and xsl  :)
