vertical writing
Hi,

I'm learning XSL FO.
My question is about writing-mode, especialy 'tb-rl' - it's very
common in Japanese literary books.

In vertical writing-mode (eg. 'tb-rl'), escapement-/inline-/column-
progression-derection is vertical (top-to-bottom), and line-/block-/
row-progression-derection is horizontal (right-to-left).

I understand that the property 'column-width' is vertical length and
'row-height' is horizontal when writing-mode is 'tb-rl' (or 'tb-lr',
etc).
But this property name '-width' or '-height' seems to be confused;
if page's writing-mode is 'tb-rl', the 'page-height' is horizontal??
(I can't think so) or if a container's writing-mode is 'tb-rl', its '
height' and 'width' property are...?

thanks,

Shinyu MURAKAMI
