Maybe I'm approaching it > from the wrong end altogether? Since it's an implementation detail you'd have to write some Java code to do it. Fortunately this is relatively straightforward, you have to write an implementation for org.xml.sax.EntityResolver to do what you want, then create a new parser class using it for XT to use.
