Hi Chris. Actually, the quote you see about holes in tapestries was a brief paragraph at the end of a more sumstantial post, and was also intended to be lighthearted, and somewhat humorous (the sentence making this clear has been snipped). Duane was mearly voicing support for the sentement. As a starting point for simple discussion with a WG chair, before even stating to address technical matters, how about "what the hell is happening with XLink?" A reasonable question to ask, and a reasonable sentement to voice considering the stagerring inactivity in this area. And hey... don't dis the verse man, I can't help it if I have the soul of a poet locked within the mind of a geek :) Cheers Guy. xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on 04/11/99 07:24:24 AM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx cc: (bcc: Guy Murphy/UK/MAID) Subject: Re: The Cathedral and the Bizarre (was: do you use pi's?) I think we (the people who actually use > XML/XSL/XQL/et al, need to have our message heard at the W3.org level. And your message is ... (in concise and clear terms that something can be done about). References to holes in tapestry are very poetic, but not exactly something that can be discussed with a WG chair or raised in a meeting. -- Chris XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
