Ken Holman's XSL Article

I think last nights SGML/XML meeting was very informative giving
us an in-depth understanding of the roles that XML stylesheets
fit.  At the moment the stylesheet area is still somewhat gray.
Ken did an excellent job of bringing the area of CSS, XSL and
DSSSL stylesheets into better focus.

I have had several requests for electronic copies of the the
handouts.  I think it is worthwhile mentioning that Ken has
written an excellent article on XSL at http://www.xml.com.
Much of the material he presented last night on XSL can be
found in the article.  Also, if you have IE 5.0 he has working
examples and sample code.

I would like to thank Ken for taking time out of his busy
schedule to come to Washington from Ottawa to present his
tutorial.  If anyone is attending WWW8 in Toronto in
May, Ken will be giving a more in-depth tutorial on XSL
at the conference. 

Tony Graham was wondering last night why a new draft of the
XSL specification is released everytime a talk on XSL is
scheduled for the SGML/XML users group.  It was remarkable
that Ken's presentation last evening, as well as his article,
accommodates the new XSLT draft specification.
