I'm asking you to use XSL for what it is good for and then write ten lines of JavaScript to fix up the result. Let's see, it takes one line of DOM code to get a list of all tables in the document. One line to get a list of all rows in a table. One line to skip every other row. Then one line to add the shading attribute. That's four lines. I would write them out but I can't bring myself to type GetElementsBy********. Argh.
