For my work, the dropping of script support in the current draft has been a
major pain. 

Likewise for the web accessibility initiative.
that group has / will be shortly putting in a 'similar' request
to the XSL group.
Its needed, and will be re-introduced we believe, 
but I would rather have the XSL groups definition than
a single implementors version.
