<select-elements> does work, providing you only put a single
<target-element> in each select-elements, e.g.
     <select-elements>
      <target-element type="Message-Date"/>
     </select-elements>
     <select-elements>
      <target-element type="Buyer-EAN"/>
     </select-elements>
     <select-elements>
      <target-element type="Order-No"/>
     </select-elements>
