Just tell Brandon Thomas, and he will produce an open-source clone of
Saxon, plus the wanted new functionality.

After cloning Photoshop and Word, this will be just a small exercise for
him.

" *Brandon Thomas, the engineer behind the ArtCraft project, published the
apps on GitHub as WordCraft
<https://github.com/storytold/wordcraft>, GridCraft
<https://github.com/storytold/gridcraft> and DeckCraft
<https://github.com/storytold/deckcraft>. Open source means anyone can
read, copy, and modify the code, and the MIT and Apache 2.0 licenses let
people reuse it even commercially.* "

Fortunately for all, the dependency on vendors, the risks and limitations
of their lock-ins are over.

We are entering a new era, where one just has to clearly imagine and define
the wanted functionality - then have it implemented promptly.

Say GoodBy to the behemoths...
