With great interests, I 've looked at your stylesheet. It seems that
it was intended for XSLT 2.0. Could it work for stylesheet written in
XSLT 1.0? If so, could you explicitly instruct how to run transforms
against your stylesheet?

I can't see the point of using xslt 1.0 today?
I ran it using saxon 9, input xml is the 'root' stylesheet of a set
the output is HTML.
