On the Oasis ODF list, an issue has cropped up needing a bit of both
XSLT and [name your programming language]

Basically link checking a document. 

Would it be useful to you to be able to access the http returned status
codes from the 'get'?

then we could iterate through all [whatever named ] links and see if
content is still available.
