Hi,
In addition to Ken's other helpful remarks:
What is the closest XPath expression which could get the value of an
element in a most preferred language?
"title[lang($preferredLanguage)]"
Or maybe title[lang(our:preferred-language())] with an extension function.
Which is entirely to leave aside whether we think it's a good idea to
have an API that's sort-of-like-XPath-but-not-quite.
But I think we'd all feel more comfortable addressing the question if
it were really on topic (it's not).
Cheers,
Wendell
