I think the previous replies should best be read as :

"If you're a newbie to XSL you WILL NOT be able to achieve this task.
If you're an expert, you might, but it will be difficult."

(Noting that I'm less tactful than the previous respondents.
And that you may not have picked up the nuances in their answers)
