Hello Abel,

In a perfect world the Web Service would return a file that would be formatted exactly as I would need it. There is no way for me to repair the problem at the source as I have zero control over it. Thank you for the rest as well, I will definitly give it a go with Saxon, right now I have some limitations that are beyond my control with the engine I use but I can use Saxon "stand alone" (outside the software I am currently using) and if I get it to work, 1 more reason to swtch engines.

Good to hear that. I am sure you are also aware that you can configure XML Spy (I assumed you use that) to use Saxon. However, it does not use it in debugging or syntax checking, which results, unfortunately, in Altova flagging for errors that aren't errors at all. So be warned if Altova says "Are you sure you want to save this file, it is not valid" etc. ;)

If you need a list, there are some in the archives...
