CORROLLARY: if you post the problem to a forum, you will snip the very code that contains the bug. The best answer to this is to cut the problem down to a minimum self-contained repro that illustrates the problem, and then post the whole of the repro. This also greatly increases the chance that people will help you in your debugging, because it's much easier to find bugs if you can run the code, rather than just stare at it.
