RE: Cals table question

In the CALS table model, morerows defines the number of additional rows that
are spanned by a vertical straddle. (A straddle is a series of merged table
cells). You will find the CALS table specs on the OASIS web site at

What does morerows attribute under element "entry" do in Cals table? Also, 
has anybody written the XSLFO for CALS table? I have found XSLT but no code 
to convert cals table using XSLFO formatting object. Please let me know.
