I am having some trouble extracting meaning from your problem description.
To the best of my ability, I think you need a concept something like this
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
version="1.0">
<xsl:output method="text" />
<xsl:template match="/element1">
<xsl:apply-templates select="newElement1" />
<xsl:apply-templates select="newElement2" />
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="newElement1">
<xsl:value-of
select="following-sibling::text()[following-sibling::newElement2]" />
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="newElement2">
<xsl:value-of
select="following-sibling::text()[following-sibling::newElement3]" />
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
