You got one reply that seemed like the writer had some insight into your problem. I hope that was so. If you don't know what your XML document looks like (the structure) how did you come up with any XSLT at all? How could you know what to write?

I can not provide input and output, because that XSL transformer
is deep inside Cocoon application and my attempts to break the pipe
and get it by inserting
<map:serialize type="html"/>
before or after it didn't produce anything.
