XML Prague 2006 Conference June 17/18 and Call for Participation

We are happy to announce XML Prague 2006, a regular conference on XML
for developers, web designers, information managers, and students. This
year's focus is on the topics related to XML Native Databases and
Querying XML.

The schedule has been expanded from last year's with a full day of experts
talks followed by an additional day dedicated for participants to hold
related BoF sessions and workshops.

The following speakers have confirmed and we are waiting on a few more.

Final speaker information and talk abstracts will be posted on the
website.

We can confirm that the eXist Open Source XML database community has
planned a workshop to be held in conjunction with the conference, on
June 18th, details available at http://exist.sourceforge.net

How to Register

Registration is now open and closes on *9th June*, re-opening on
the day of the conference, 17th June. The on-site registration will be
limited by the number of available places.

How to Participate
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you are attending the conference and would be interested in
participating, please review the following available options.

* BoF (Birds of a Feather) session: Arrange small group of individuals
using similar set of XML technologies (ex. Perl XML, Python XML, XSLT,
RDF etc...) to discuss and trade techniques.

* Workshops: Arrange for a more formal agenda with speakers and
presentations.

* Lightening Talk: Submit a short 5 minutes presentation , 'poster'
style for general discussion.
