Thanks Michael, this code looks good. 5/5/5/5/1 is indeed how I would like things to end up if there were 21 items. Now, then... how would I incorporate this into my stylesheet and what should I put in this piece of code: <xsl:variable name="all-items" select="..."/> Sorry for sounding a bit stupid on this one!
