But if XML has a default namespace instead:
XML:
<OrderRequest xmlns="http://www.csgsystems.com/bta">

It does not matter how the namespace-uri was assigned to the elements in the XML (named or default namespace) - it shouldn't affect your xslt. Leave it untouched.
