Whoops. That stylesheet does indeed format dates in English, but it
doesnt use data elements in the stylesheet. That was something on my
to-do list to make it language-independent now I suppose I had better do
so. (-:
Maria, if your stylesheet contains:
<my:month-names>
<my:month num="01">janvier</my:month>
<my:month num="02">fevrier</my:month>
</my:month-names>
You can get "janvier" with:
document('')/*/my:month-names/my:month[@num='01']
