[XSL-LIST Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] why do I get duplicate <HTML> after xsl:copy ?
Hi
The forum has been very quiet for a while but Im still hoping someone will be able to help with probably a very simple query. Im trying to copy all the contents of an HTML file into another file but I get a duplicate <HTML> tag at the start. Ive tried out loads of options but theres always a duplication of the first <xsl:apply-templates> expression. My .xsl file begins as such ---------------------- <xsl:template match="/"> <xsl:apply-templates select="HTML"/> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="HTML"> <xsl:copy> <xsl:copy-of select="."/> <xsl:apply-templates select="BODY"/> </xsl:copy> </xsl:template> ---------------------- at this point I get the output -----------------
<HTML xmlns:saxon="http://saxon.sf.net/"> <!-- Line 1-->
<HTML>
<HEAD/>
<BODY/>
</HTML>
----------------I dont want this Line 1 from the above output but am not able to get rid of it. Could someone please help resolve this. Thanks Rahil
