		<xsl:with-param name="colorval" select="$color"/>
	</xsl:apply-templates>


Then modify your match template to accept the paramter.


	<xsl:template match="nr">
		<xsl:param name="colorval"/>
		<td bgcolor="{$colorval}">
			<xsl:value-of select="."/>
		</td>
	</xsl:template>
