Seriously ... thanks Omprakash and David (and Mike) for drawing this out. This is now a bigger FAQ than how to get the nbsp entity in your output.

lets make the FAQ bigger....lets not forget that in XSLT 2.0;

where we can have XSLT namespace, XPATH function and datatypes namespaces as well as XML namespace, schema and schema instance namespaces...
