RE: XSL:IF and Sort Results

<xsl:template match="fiches/fiche">
         <xsl:for-each select="//fiche">

That's saying "whenever you find a fiche element, process all the fiche
elements in the document"

Without seeing your source I can't correct this for you, but it's obvious
what's going wrong.
