Could you give an example of how you would expect your outcome to look like?

Should it be:

<Trades>
	<Trade>
 		<TradeId>1</TradeId>
            	<ExtTradeId>FOO</TradeId>
 	</Trade>
 	<Trade>
 		<TradeId>2</TradeId>
		<ExtTradeId>FOO</TradeId>
	</Trade>
