get rid of xmlns
In converting from WordML to OSIS my resulting document starts with:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<osis xmlns:w="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/word/2003/wordml">
   <osisText lang="FR">
      <div type="commentary" osisID="Translator'sNotes:Ruth" annotateRef="Ruth">
         <div xmlns:w10="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:word" xmlns:sl="http://schemas.microsoft.com/schemaLibrary/2003/core" xmlns:dt="uuid:C2F41010-65B3-11d1-A29F-00AA00C14882" xmlns:wx="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/word/2003/auxHint" xmlns:st1="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" xmlns:aml="http://schemas.microsoft.com/aml/2001/core" xmlns:v="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" xmlns:o="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" type="main"/>

I have no use for any of the xmlns: attributes in the start of this
document.
How do I get rid of them? They have no meaning in OSIS and there are no
references to them within the document otherwise.
I found out the hard way that xmlns is not a matchable attribute.

Thanks for all the help this list provides.
