But the crutial part is that
<asin><xsl:value-of select="parent::amazon:ASIN"/></asin>
the above line doesnt get the value, its blank

the 'ASIN' element is not a parent of context node.
Try:
<asin><xsl:value-of select="parent::Item/amazon:ASIN"/></asin>
or
<asin><xsl:value-of select="preceding-sibling::amazon:ASIN"/></asin>
