RE: Comparing node for identity using union

I am personally using 2 but others may want 1.

Maybe there is already a resource out there, but I can't seem to find a
simple explanation.  Maybe because its not so simple?

Are you interested in the XSLT 1.0 story or the 2.0 story? They are very
different.
