Yes I admit. I meant W3C XML Schema. Could't anybody think of something much simpler than a full-blown XSLT validator. I actually found one by the help of google at http://www.redrice.com/ci/generatingXslValidators.html. But why not just use document() to compare the current document with the XSDs requirements? Yes. Schematron has a freely available (from the designer of Schematron) validator written in XSLT 1.0. But perhaps you meant W3C Schemas?
