[XSL-LIST Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] Re: # linking and searching
1. is it possible to use hash style "mid-page" naviagtion used in html in xml/xsl? for example if i were to declare the link location as ="#water" and i gave a subtitle an attribute of ="water" would it link. my method doesnt work as such but hoping some1 might be able to tell me how. yes, xsl just generates the html page, how that html works is unrelated to how it is generated so if you have <a name="foo"> ..... <a href="#foo"> then it will all just work fine. 2. i want to bulid a search engine to search all xml articles available on the server, is there anywhere where i could find some sample code for this? Probably but I can't really answer this. You may want to say what server you are using, Microsoft IIS, Apache, tomcat, ...? Then someone else may be able to help (but this is the wrong email list for that question) perhaps xml-dev.
