aside from the fact that to get a literal { in an attribute value
template you have to use {{ You probably want to allow any number of {}
groups inside your word so that would be

(\w|{[^{}]*})+

ie a sequence of one-or-more (word character or brace-group)

written as


regex="(\w|{{[^{{}}]*}})+"
