Please send you complete XSLT code, as your question relates to a very
general syntax error. 

Just as an aside, with a tool like XSelerator 2.6 you may well be able to
find out what's wrong for yourself (it has buttons to validate XML and XSLT,
among many other features)... and learn a lot along the way. :-)
