Hi Kaerstin, Please post your XML or an extract of it so we can determine the cause of your problem better, just like you did with the radio and check boxes. <prs/> -----Original Message----- From: Johnson, Kaerstin [mailto:johns218@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, March 26, 2004 9:08 AM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Generating form fields with xsl I have an xml page that gets translated into a html form using my xsl stylesheet. However when I try and create a textarea field, it doesnt work. How does one create a <textarea name=""></textarea> equivalent in xsl? I tried using an input with ttype textfield and also the way below: they dont seem to work. <xsl:choose><xsl:when test="display='textfield'"><input type="text" name="{name}"/></xsl:when> <xsl:when test="display='textarea'"><textarea name="{name}" ></textarea> </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise> <xsl:apply-templates select="possibleValues"> <xsl:with-param name="typo" select="display"/> <xsl:with-param name="multiple" select="$multiple"/> <xsl:with-param name="label" select="name"/> </xsl:apply-templates> </xsl:otherwise> </xsl:choose>
