Updating attributes and node value using JAVA

Hi,
  I am new in this concept accessing XML document from
Java Server Page. 
  I use XML and XSL in Xalan Parser producing HTML. 
I want to update XML file using JSP or Java passing
attribute value as parameter from HTML. This parameter
value will be updated to XML file.

So, If any one using this concept Accessing XML from
JSP. Please let me know,
