xsl node traversal

<xsltemplate match="inline|text()" mode="y">
<xsl:copy-of select="."/>
<xsl:apply-templates select=following-sibling::node()[1][self::inline or self::text()]"/>
</xsl:template>

Note that this is the "forward walk" or (properly) Tree Visitor pattern that was discussed a few days ago.
