There is no theoretical limit to the size of an xml file, other then
those limits imposed by the computing hardware and environment.

In addition, processors such as XSLT processors or XML Schema validators
that manipulate xml may have limits placed upon them by their various
approaches of how they consume xml....usually we start talking about the
differences between in memory representation, e.g. some variant of DOM
or a filter approach, e.g. SAX. 

Perhaps you have a more specific problem ?
